Book Discussion - The Interfaith Thriller, "A New Song"

Please join physician and author, Sarah Isaias, in a panel discussion of her recently-released novel, "A New Song."  Likened to a "Jewish-Muslim Da Vinci Code," the book follows a Muslim poet and a Jewish physician in an international quest for an ancient poem to redeem the world.

In honor of the Muslim festival held on this date, Eid al-Adha, the panel will consider the story of Abraham and his sons, Ishmael and Isaac, as a model for religious pluralism, a theme which is explored in many dimensions in the novel. The Islamic Festival of Eid al-Adha commemorates the trial of Abraham, and recalls God’s ultimate compassion towards humanity.
